Love this book!!! One of my top three picks for the Caldecott, and only wish more people were aware of it. It is a great story, and the illustrations are beautiful and educational. If you haven't read it yet, find a copy and read it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the illustrations are stunning. My favorite is the double page spread of Frances, her face deep in concentration as she prepares for her final shot.
