The media and style of illustration in this book really fit the story. I loved the illustrator's note about how he chose to incorporate practices of the Korphe people into his art. As far as collage goes, these illustrations appealed to me more than those in Tsunami!, perhaps just because they were more vibrant and clear.
My review of this book pretty much echoes Mandy's - the illustration really fit the story.
I really love Tsunami though. I didn't see much difference in clearness or vibrance but I do think the pictures in Listen to the Wind appear to have more texture. Good book.
