Dinosaur vs. Bedtime, by Bob Shea

Illustrated by Bob Shea.

Abstract: "Nothing can stop a little dinosaur. Not talking grown-ups, a bowl of spaghetti, or bath time... But what happens when he has to face the biggest challenge of all?"--front flap.

Hyperion Books for Children, 2008.

  1. One of my favorite picture books of the year!

So simple, yet brilliant - wait, didn't I already say that about Mo?

  2. I agree with you, Heather, this one IS great. I like the unique touches to the illustrations, like the flannel texture of Dinosaur's pajamas, and especially the spaghetti in Dinosaur's mouth. (You really have to see this!) The humor in the illustrations extends the humor of the story very well!

  3. This was a cute book, and I could just imagine the type of read-aloud it could become!

The illustrations weren't my favorite, but they were fun. I do love the use of patterns in the book. They add a neat spin the the pages.

    Cute idea!
