The poems are very good but the illustrations make them great. There is a nice variation in the sizes of the illustrations. The colors fit the poems. The animals' expression are wonderful. And, the end pages aren't dull either. My favorite is Emily's Undies. What a great book! I like that the illustrations add to the humor of the poems -- the ostrich is my favorite!
